The Uber of Electricity

Do you remember the last time you paid a utility bill? Yes, of course. That’s every month. Imagine if the utility company paid you back to be their customer. What if I told that you can make money selling power from your home to a utility company? What if I told you that this is the future of the electric utility industry? Unfortunately, no one can tell you what the future holds; you have to see it for yourself.

Ten years ago, if I told you that you could make money driving people around in your own car or rent out your couch for a weekend , you would probably think I am crazy. Fast forward to today and you are more than likely to have used one, if not all, of the available share economy services.

Companies like Uber and Lyft have successfully disrupted the entire taxi industry while Airbnb has gone on to disrupt the hotel industry. The same can be said of Spotify for music and Amazon for publishing and shopping among many other industries.

The internet has truly come of age and has enabled an infrastructure that connects a user to a service within a blink of an eye. The new age of the internet has opened a world of limitless possibilities. While software has been at the heart of this internet revolution, the invaluable knowledge from enormous data being collected has been the brains behind it.

The electric utility industry is on the cusp of such a disruption and your home is the Uber of electricity, look no further.

“This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”[1]

Remember, all I am offering is the truth, nothing more.
